Tips on how to steal a Christmas tree

after reading this story, ( http://www.post-trib.com/news/1921764,ptgtreethief1205.article) DJ SC and I would like to offer some tips to those that would attempt to steal a Christmas tree while riding a bike.

First, I understand that having a motor on the bike helps because it would be very difficult to peddle a bike while balancing the tree on your handle bars. This is a mistake because the noise of the motor draws attention to you. Perhaps get a trailer for your bike. As seen here.

Or Here.

Another helpful idea, is get some kids to ride along with you. Especially if you have been drinking. No one expects kids on a bike to be up to no good, and they could help with your balance. see photo here.

Or here.

Next lets talk Camouflage. By having the tree in a basket in front, you can hide amongst the tree's on the ride home.

Finally, remember a timely holiday disguise never hurts. I mean, who would arrest Santa this time of year?

Good luck and enjoy the holidays!
