Day 2: Hogwarts & Cheesesteaks

Bryn Mawr, PA to Baltimore, MD
123 Miles

BG
RB

After a delightful breakfast, at the lovely Bryn Mawr College,

we made a quick stop to photograph the former residence and childhood home of Peter Bent at 401 Gatcombe Lane.

It looked very similar to the other houses in the area: nothing but hedge fences and well kept snowy yards. Quite the winter wonderland. Nice to know that my dad grew up so close to an all- women's college. Boo-Yah.

After a Pat's famous cheese-steak (we skipped Geno's due to the long line), we celebrated BG's birthday at Ray's Happy Birthday Bar

where, after much ID scrutiny, BG was treated to a free Pabst. The name of the bar came from the old owner who was a tad senile and would greet everyone with "Happy Birthday!", which would get a laugh every time, especially when it actually was the customers birthday, which it usually wasn't.

Our thirst quenched, we headed for Baltimore. (We decided to skip the lame, touristy stuff like the Liberty Bell; this would be the same throughout our trip.)
