If you are going to watch one movie this summer, I would like to offer a suggestion. let me start with the premise....
We start with a Navy engineered marine animal, that is part shark, part octopus.... ALL SHARKTOPUS!!!!!
This new naval secret is the ultimate super weapon untill.... They lose control of it!!!!
At this point Sharktopus goes crazy and starts killing tons of Bikini clad women who are frolicking on the beach. If you think a machine gun can stop him... THINK AGAIN!!!!
If this hasn't wet your appetite yet, just watch the trailer below. the Bungee jump scene below is probably one of the most exciting action scene's in a monster movie since Godzilla laid a million eggs inside of Madison square Garden!!

it's a good thing Nic Cage is "too good" for this movie. otherwise my summer might be ruined.
Sharktopus reminds me a little too much of Mega Shark- it looks like, while there is a strong premise and presentation, most of the (as in, the only) good parts are all in the preview.
I think Mega Shark eating an airplane is a little cooler than Sharktopus eating a bungee jumper, but the pure stupidity of a person bungee jumping over Sharktopus-infested waters makes me curious of the setup.
I new i shouldn't have made that cage comment. totally turned you off from the movie.... doesn't the fact that Eric Roberts (brother of Julia) help make this better than mega shark?

If Eric Roberts was all it took to get someone fired up about a movie, "Brother Sweet Brother: The Killing of Stanton Sweet" would be out already.
And I would probably have also seen at least one "Best of the Best."
